Teamsters sue to block Mexican trucks

CHICAGO The International Brotherhood of Teamsters has filed an appeal to block a U.S. Department of Transportation pilot program that allows Mexican trucks to enter the United States.
"Opening the border to these dangerous, dirty trucks is an attack on highway safety, on American truckers and warehouse workers, on border security and on our environment," Teamsters president James Hoffa said in a statement. "Its outrageous enough that weve outsourced millions of jobs to foreign countries, but now were bringing foreign workers across the border into the United States....
