LOS ANGELES MMFX Steel Corp. of America, which recently exited Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, has agreed to sell its Florida plant as it exits the fabrication sector to focus on selling stock lengths to distributors, fabricators and contractors.
SteelCON Supply Co., Beckley, W.Va., has agreed to buy the Portland, Ore.-based specialty reinforcing bar producers Jacksonville, Fla., fabrication plant from the corrosion-resistant rebar producer. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. ....
