Copper contract talks for 2012 at standstill

NEW YORK — U.S. copper contracts for 2012 have been slow to solidify during the December mating season, market participants told AMM.

In past years, contract talks would have begun in the early weeks of November, but as December gets off the ground traders say consumers have been hesitant to book business for next year.....
