PITTSBURGH The Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) has alleged that a group of Grande Cache Coal Corp. executives engaged in insider trading.
Five executives at the Alberta, Calgary-based metallurgical coal miner and one family member allegedly traded in options and sold shares between late May and July 2008, knowing that first-quarter sales would be off by nearly 40 percent because they had access to materials that were not publicly disclosed, according to an ASC statement.....
