UK 18/8 stainless steel solids prices rise on LME nickel increase and competition

Prices for 18/8 stainless steel solid scrap increased this week because of higher London Metal Exchange three-month nickel prices and increased competition among merchants.
18/8 inter-merchant solids rose to £1,125-1,175 ($1,765-1,843) per tonne on December 9, up from £1,075-1,125 a week ago.
