Paris court to rule on EGMF-Gécamines dispute on Dec 20

A Paris arbitration court will deliver an interim ruling on December 20 in a case in which Entreprise Générale Malta Forrest (EGMF) and Gécamines are wrangling over a 60% stake in a Katanga-based cobalt and copper miner. Miner and civil engineer EGMF and Gécamines, a mining concern state-owned by the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), presented their arguments to the arbitration court in Paris this week, Metal Bulletin understands.
