Paris court to rule on EGMF-Gécamines dispute on Dec 20

A Paris arbitration court will deliver an interim ruling on December 20 in a case in which Entreprise Générale Malta Forrest (EGMF) and Gécamines are wrangling over a 60% stake in a Katanga-based cobalt and copper miner.
Miner and civil engineer EGMF and Gécamines, a mining concern state-owned by the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), presented their arguments to the arbitration court in Paris this week, Metal Bulletin understands.
EGMF is defending its right to keep the 60% stake in Compagnie Minière....
