Zinc premiums trend higher in bullish market

NEW YORK The zinc mating season for 2012 contracts has been "unusually good," with most deals for next year in their final stages, one trader told AMM.
Contract premiums for high-grade zinc are around 7 to 8 cents per pound, he said, in line with spot premiums at the end of this year.
Premiums for contracts signed for 2011 were about 5.5 cents per pound, a second trader said. Spot premiums started the year at 4.5 cents before surging in the second quarter, AMM data shows.....
