European secondary aluminium ingot price dips while scrap rises

European secondary aluminium ingot prices dipped on Friday as markets soured on the eurozone turmoil, while rising scrap prices pressured margins.
DIN226 pressure diecasting ingot dipped to €1,620-1,720 ($2,162-2,295) per tonne from €1,660-1,740 previously, with the low prices again coming from southern Europe while prices in Germany were towards the top of the range.
