Base metal prices dip in LME officials as traders fret about growth

Base metal prices were all hovering around the morning’s lows during Monday’s official session on the London Metal Exchange, as a lack of headlines out of Europe left trading subdued.
Aluminium prices settled at $2,030/30.50 per tonne, basis three months, and were holding at $2,029.50 per tonne at 13.41 GMT, just $6 above the intraday low set in the pre-market session.
