ADF banking on W. Canada as US weakness hurts results

TORONTO — ADF Group Inc.’s fiscal third-quarter results were hurt by the effects of a weak U.S. economy, a strong Canadian dollar and lower-margin contracts.

Tepid demand from the United States has the company banking in the short term on the Canadian market to build its order backlog, given the brighter economic outlook there, it said....
