LOS ANGELES — Published prices for wide-flange steel beams appear to be on their way back up to October levels, but buyers question whether market prices will follow.
Nucor-Yamato Steel Co. has notified customers that it will raise its raw material surcharge by $30 per ton and reduce its base prices by $10 per ton, resulting in a $20-per-ton increase in its published transaction prices, effective Jan. 1.....
