Spanish ferrous scrap prices rise on competition, supply fears

Ferrous scrap prices for material imported into Spain increased this week as buyers looked to secure more tonnage for delivery in the New Year.
Shredded scrap prices have increased by €15 ($20) per tonne over the past two weeks, while turnings have increased by €5 per tonne, market participants said.
