DAILY SCRAP REPORT: Prices go higher as sellers look to hold onto tonnage

Metal Bulletin’s Daily Ferrous Scrap Index cfr Iskenderun was at $436.31 per tonne on an HMS 1&2 (80:20) basis on December 13, up more than $3 from $433.26 a day earlier.
Two cargoes were sold recently at higher levels, with few remaining offers in the market as many exporters looked to keep back tonnages expecting prices to surge higher in January, market participants told Metal Bulletin. ....
