Norilsk to hold egms on independent director payment

Norilsk Nickel will hold two extraordinary general meetings for shareholders in February to finalise plans to introduce independent director remuneration.
At Norilsk’s agm in June, it was decided independent members of the board would not be remunerated, but this decision has now been changed, a spokesman for Norilsk told Metal Bulletin.
An egm will be held on February 1 next year to determine how much independent directors should receive, for what, and who the independent directors are, the board of directors has decided. ....
