Siam Emco buys tungsten producer SC Mining

Thailand-based Siam Emco Corp has taken over tungsten producer SC Mining and plans to develop it into a major supplier of tungsten concentrate in Southeast Asia, according to the new owner, Siam Emco’s Tepsiri Kijbamrung.
Siam Emco Corp acquired 100% share ownership of SC Mining on Thursday December 8, he said.
“As a result of the new Chinese export quotas policy, every non-Chinese supplier will have an advantage in this market. I think it is a good time to seize this advantage and expand production,” Kijbamrung said. ....
