Antofagasta to invest $1.3bn in Antucoya copper asset

Antofagasta is to invest an estimated $1.3 billion in the development of the Antucoya copper project in Chile, the company said on December 14. The company has signed a memorandum of understanding with Marubeni Corp under which Marubeni will become a 30% partner in the project, in return for $350 million and a commitment to fund....
