CLOSE TO CLOSE: Base metals prices edge up in LME kerb

Base metals prices posted modest gains in the kerb session on the London Metal Exchange on December 15, after recovering equities and a stronger euro lent support in afternoon trading.
Three-month nickel was the best performer, up by 2.8% compared with yesterday’s close, finishing the kerb at $17,895 per tonne.
The alloying metal settled at $17,825/850 per tonne in officials, traded as high as $18,049 per tonne and dipped to....
