SHFE copper sees more near-term volatility

Shanghai Futures Exchange copper settled the week 5.8% lower on lingering European debt woes.
SHFE March copper settled at 53,780 yuan ($8,482) per tonne, up 1.0% from Thursday’s settle. Copper held in SHFE official warehouses rose 6,858 tonnes to 79,570 tonnes.
Spot copper prices on Changjiang Nonferrous Metals Exchange fell 50 yuan to 54,550-54,650 yuan per tonne on Friday.
