Copper TC/RCs benchmark set for 2012 as Aurubis concludes supply deals

Benchmark copper treatment and refining charges (TC/RCs) for 2012 have effectively been set after Aurubis achieved the same terms concluded by Freeport-McMoran last month.
Aurubis will receive TC/RCs at $63.5/6.35 per lb to process concentrates supplied on annual contracts for next year, a source with knowledge of the situation said.
Freeport-McMoran agreed the same terms....
