Constellium mill ramps up output

NEW YORK — Constellium has successfully upgraded the stretcher at its rolling mill in Ravenswood, W.Va., and is in the process of ramping up production, the company’s top executive told AMM.

The upgraded stretcher will increase the rolling mill’s plate capacity by almost 60 percent. Richard B. Evans, interim chairman and chief executive officer, expects to reach the new capacity by the first half of next year.....
