Atkore posts $17M net loss on construction weakness

TORONTO Atkore International Holdings Inc. logged losses in its first year as a stand-alone company even as sales volumes increased, with the company citing a weak nonresidential construction sector.
The company reported a net loss of $17 million on sales of $1.3 billion for the nine months spanning Dec. 23, 2010, to Sept. 30, 2011, according to the companys 10-K filing with the U.S. Securitites and Exchange Commission.....
