Billet offers into SE Asia up by $20 as scrap prices continue upward trend

Billet offers into Southeast Asia have risen by as much as $20 per tonne in the past two weeks tracking the rise in scrap prices.
Offers from South Korea, Taiwan, Russia, and the CIS are at $645-650 per tonne cfr this week, up from $630-640 per tonne cfr last week.
Malaysian mills, the only major billet producers in Southeast Asia, are offering....
