Shanghai copper inches up but trading volumes fall in pre-xmas slowdown

Shanghai Futures Exchange copper prices edged up on Tuesday, although concerns over the eurozone issue and the looming holidays reduced trading volumes.
SHFE March copper settled at 53,610 yuan ($8,393) per tonne, 80 yuan higher from Monday.
