China's nickel ore imports surge 37% in November

China's nickel ore imports surged 37.55% month-on-month in November, as orders from traders increased in October when London Metal Exchange nickel prices rebounded.
Inbound imports rose to 6.30 million tonnes in November, up 37.55% from October and close to the historical high of 6.33 million tonnes in September.
"The LME nickel price rebounded a little bit in October and many people thought that nickel prices had bottomed out and started to buy, and that's the reason November imports rose at such large scale," a nickel ore importer told Metal Bulletin. ....
