Plate offers to India fall by $25 per tonne

Commercial grade plate offers to India have fallen by almost $25 per tonne for February shipment.
Offers have been quoted at $635-640 per tonne cfr, mainly for Chinese origin material. This is compared with the last bookings made in late November, at levels of $660-665 cfr. Importers are yet to book any consignments.
The demand for plate in the domestic Indian market has been sluggish, keeping prices depressed and forcing importers to consistently bid for lower prices, according to market participants.....
