NEW YORK — IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. is optimistic about the coming year after its stock price declined in the latter half of 2011, which its asserted was the result of market fears rather than fundamentals.

The European debt crisis remains unresolved, "currency markets were in daily swings," and the Vancouver, British Columbia-based fabricator of copper alloy and beryllium aluminum alloy products was "caught up in this downdraft" across the markets in the second half of 2011, president and chief executive....
