Shanghai copper falls 1.7%, tracking LME drop

Shanghai Futures Exchange copper moved down by 1.7% on Thursday, tracking overnight falling prices in London. SHFE March copper settled at 54,320 yuan ($8,534) per tonne, down 950 yuan from Wednesday. Its trading volume decreased by 25,224 lots to 361,456 lots.
