LOS ANGELES Pacific Steel Casting Co. is facing its third labor-related challenge in less than a year with a class-action lawsuit seeking an estimated $31 million in damages from the company.
Roberto Rodriguez, who retired in 2010 after working at Pacific Steel for more than 45 years, has accused the Berkeley, Calif.-based company of violating California law by failing to provide its workers with "timely meal and/or rest periods" within a five-hour period mandated by the state.....
