More copper fabricators, distributors upbeat

NEW YORK — More copper fabricators and distributors expect order levels to improve in the new year following a decrease in shipments in November, according to a Copper and Brass Servicenter Association (CBSA) report.

Some 20.8 percent of service centers and 25 percent of suppliers said they expect incoming orders to increase over the next three months, up from 4.8 percent of service centers and 23.1 percent of suppliers in the October survey (AMM, Dec. 2).....
