PCC's sales climb despite stall in aerospace

LOS ANGELES Net income for Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) rose 19.8 percent in the companys fiscal third-quarter 2012, but the manufacturers results remained comparatively flat with previous quarters as earlier upticks in the aerospace business stalled.
The Portland, Ore.-based producer said aircraft-related production in its castings and forgings segments for the fiscal third quarter ended Jan. 1 was essentially flat.....
