Alcoa to restart big forging press in 1st qtr.

LOS ANGELES Alcoa Inc. will start up its rebuilt 50,000-ton forging press in the first quarter after a three-and-a-half-year shutdown.
A spokesman for Pittsburgh-based Alcoa didnt provide a more specific date for the startup of the press, generally considered one of the three largest aerospace forging presses in the United States.....
