Caterpillar to build $200M equipment factory in Ga.

CHICAGO Caterpillar Inc. will invest $200 million to build a 1-million-square-foot construction equipment facility in Athens, Ga., chairman and chief executive officer Doug Oberhelman said during a visit to the state Friday.
The company expects to hire a total of 1,400 people there, he said in Atlanta, where he was joined by Gov. Nathan Deal.....
