Welspun picks Arkansas for new $100M pipe mill

TORONTO Welspun Corp. Ltd. has picked Little Rock, Ark., as the site for its new electric-resistance welded (ERW) steel pipe mill, the company said Thursday.
Welspun will invest an additional $100 million at the site and add 200 jobs.
The new mill will give the Little Rock operations the capacity to make ERW pipe in smaller sizes, ranging from 6 inches to 20 inches in diameter, the company said, adding that this boosts its overall investment at the site to $280 million since April 2009.....
