FTC settles with pipe fittings supplier, charges two others

NEW YORK The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) said it has formally settled charges with one U.S. supplier of ductile iron pipe fittings that allegedly engaged in illegal anti-competitive practices to protect its market share.
At the same time, the government agency has charged two other suppliers with illegally conspiring to fix prices, it said Tuesday.....
