Port of Mobile upgrading steel services

NEW YORK The Port of Mobile, Ala., is investing $7 million to upgrade a steel-dedicated pier due to rising steel demand, according to a port executive.
"There are lots of steel products moving through there alreadyhot-rolled coils, beams, plate and slab and (handling conditions) were in a really bad state," James K Lyons, the Alabama State Port Authoritys director and chief executive officer, told AMM.....
