Demand for large tractors driving $70 million Deere investment

CHICAGO Deere & Co. plans to invest $70 million to expand manufacturing capacity at its Waterloo, Iowa, operations, where it builds large farm tractors that are sold worldwide.
The equipment maker, which previously reported strong demand for large tractors, said Thursday its investment will increase the number of tractors Deere can build in Waterloo by more than 10 percent by the middle of 2013.....
