Lawmakers press Obama to tackle China trade practices

NEW YORK — A group of 188 lawmakers has urged President Obama to address China’s alleged unfair trade practices, which they say are hurting the U.S. auto industry.

"Chinese auto parts exports are rapidly growing and have increased almost 900 percent since 2000," they said in a letter to the Obama administration. "We cannot wait until further damage is done."....
