Foundry faces OSHA fines for 34 citations

PITTSBURGH — A Louisiana foundry is facing fines of up to $146,000 after being cited for alleged health and safety violations.

Australian cast steel products manufacturer Bradken Inc. has been accused of 27 serious and seven other-than-serious violations at its steel alloy casting facility in Amite, La., following an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) investigation.....
