CHICAGO More than 25 million jobs are needed to replace those lost during the recession and to employ a growing population of job seekers, according to Rick Blume, general manager of commercial for Nucor Corp.s steelmaking group.
Investment in energy independence, tax credits for research and development, restoring the global trade balance and investing in Americas infrastructure are some of the measures that could create the jobs of the present and the future, Blume said at the CommodityEdge conference in Chicago hosted by MetalMiner.com. ....
