NEW YORK Whole automotive lead battery prices gained a little ground Wednesday amid tight supply and strong demand.
Whole battery prices rose to 41 to 43 cents per pound, up 1 cent from a March 7 range of 40 to 42 cents per pound despite a decrease in primary lead prices on the London Metal Exchange that forced other lead scrap grades down by 3 cents per pound.....
