USS to restart galv line at Hamilton: union

TORONTO U.S. Steel Corp. plans to restart the long-idled No. 3 galvanizing line at its Hamilton Works in early May, according to a union official.
Roughly 25 union workers are currently training on the companys galvanizing and galvannealing Z-line at the plant in Ontario, and are expected to move to the No. 3 galvanizing line once it restarts, United Steelworkers union Local 1005 president Rolf Gerstenberger told AMM.....
