NEW YORK Copper scrap spreads held steady despite volatile Comex prices this week, market sources said.
"The market is well-balanced," one ingot maker said, noting that while copper for May delivery ran up at the start of the week before falling off Wednesday, copper scrap spreads and brass scrap prices have failed to move as significantly due to depressed demand.....
