Cadmium prices slip on freer Chinese supply

Cadmium prices dipped on Friday March 30 as the supply situation in China eased and demand remained flat.
3N5 cadmium prices were $0.80-0.95 per lb, down five cents from Wednesday, while 4N prices were $0.85-0.90 per lb, also five cents lower.
Price pressure has been seen this week as a 300-tonne consignment of CIS-origin 3N5 metal was delivered into China after being held by border authorities, sources said.
