UK 18/8 stainless steel scrap solids prices drop on LME nickel fall

Prices for 18/8 inter-merchant stainless steel scrap solids dropped back on Friday March 30 as falls in nickel costs over the past week put pressure on merchants’ selling prices.
Inter-merchant prices dropped by £50 ($80) per tonne on the fall in London Metal Exchange nickel prices and a lack of trade over the week, merchants said.
The range for solids fell to £1,130-1,180....
