CHICAGO U.S. manufacturing grew in March for the 32nd consecutive month, according to the Institute for Supply Management (ISM).
The institutes purchasing managers index (PMI) inched up to 53.4 from 52.4 the previous month. Bradley J. Holcomb, who chairs the ISM manufacturing business survey committee, cited increases in two sub-indexesproduction (up 3.0 points to 58.3) and employment (up 2.9 points to 56.1)as supporting the improvement.....
