Brazilian pig iron export price down to $450 fob in deal to China

Merchant pig-iron makers from Brazil’s northern region of Carajás have recently closed an export deal to China for $450 per tonne fob, down by almost $30 per tonne from the previous transaction.
A 70,000-tonne cargo will be shipped to the Asian nation in a Panamax vessel in May for around $490 per tonne cfr, local sources....
