Billet prices in SE Asia up $5 on rising scrap, iron ore prices

Billet import prices into Southeast Asia have risen by a further $5 per tonne this week, tracking a rise in scrap and iron ore prices.
Bookings were reported in Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines at $645-655 per tonne cfr this week, widening from $645-650 last week, and up from $640-645 per tonne cfr two weeks ago.
