Doe Run fire pushes lead premiums higher

NEW YORK — Doe Run Co.’s force majeure at its Herculaneum, Mo., smelter has pushed lead premiums higher in the United States, sources told AMM.

Premiums have moved up to a range of 7 to 8 cents per pound for 99.97-percent material from 6.5 to 7.5 cents previously.....
