LOS ANGELES A six-month decline in a benchmark titanium surcharge has been reversedalthough not by muchin the midst of a "stagnant" pricing environment.
ATI Allvac, a division of Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Technologies Inc. (ATI), has raised its second-quarter raw materials surcharge on standard 6-aluminum/4-vanadium bar and flat products to $7.41 per pound, up 1.2 percent from $7.32 previously. The company also raised its surcharge on titanium 6/4 billet by the same percentage to $6.74 per pound, and applied similar increases on 6/4 extra-low interstitial....
