Offers for commercial-grade hot rolled coil (HRC) imports to India, mainly of Chinese origin, at $665-670 cfr Mumbai for May shipment have found no takers, even though domestic prices have moved up by $20 in the past two weeks.
Indian importers are looking for cheaper bargains and have been negotiating for reductions of $5 to $10, market participants said.
